To create a privacy note, all you have to do is open your browser, go to Google Drive and then select New to start writing your note. Google allows you to create a private note without logging into your account. This way, your privacy note does not show up in your Google activity history. 

You can name the note however you like. Select text, insert images, draw sketches, record audio or video, add links, share it publicly or privately. Once you finish, you can preview your note before saving it. If you want to change anything, you can always edit your privacy note. 

When you have finished writing your privacy note, hit Save and your note will be saved. From here, you can view the privacy note by clicking on it. 

If you are still not sure whether or not you should save your privacy note, you can share it with others. They can see the contents without being able to access your Google Drive.

How to share a privacy note? 

Sharing a privacy note is very easy. You can either share it with other people online or send it as an email attachment. Here’s how you can share a privacy note with others. 

  1. Open a privacy note and click Share. 
  2. Click Add People and choose who you want to invite to read the privacy note. 
  3. Add more people if you want. 
  4. Then click Done when done. 
  5. Now that everyone has been invited to view your privacy note, they will need to accept it. Go back to your privacy note and click Accept invites. 
  6. After accepting the invitations, everyone will get a notification about your privacy note. 
  7. Now you can close your privacy note. 

The privacy note can be viewed by anyone who accepts the invitation. There is no way to restrict who can view your privacy note. 

How to delete a privacy note? 

Deleting a privacy note is very simple. All you have to do is click Delete to remove the note from your list. 

How to print a privacy note? 

Printing a privacy note is extremely simple too. Simply right-click on the privacy note and select Print. Your printer should automatically detect the document and begin printing. 

How to export a privacy note? 

Exporting a privacy note gives you the option of downloading it in PDF format. However, this feature is hidden behind a menu item and you might miss it. So, to find out how to export a privacy note, follow these steps. 

  1. Right-click on the privacy note and select Export. 
  2. On the popup window, select PDF/Text as the type of file you want to download. 
  3. Choose where you want to save the file and click OK. 

That’s it! The file will be downloaded in a zip folder. 

How to search for a privacy note? 

Searching for a privacy note is really easy. Just enter some keywords in the search bar. You’ll be presented with results that match what you’re looking for. 

As with many things on Google, you don’t have to sign in to Google Search. However, if you would like to save time, you can skip the step of signing in. 

In addition, there’s another method for searching for a privacy note without having to sign in. Instead of using Google search, you can use the Google Advanced Search tool. 

This advanced search tool allows you to perform searches on more than 200 fields. For example, you can search for an individual person or company by their name, address, phone number, website, social media profile, etc. 

Here’s how to search for a privacy note with Google Advanced Search. 

  1. Start typing a keyword related to a privacy note. 

For instance, if you wanted to look for privacy notes related to “family”, you could type the word “privacy” followed by “note”. 

  1. In Google, you’ll be presented with several results. If you want to narrow down the results, you can use the dropdown box next to the search field. For this example, we want to search for privacy notes related to family. So, our search query will become: “privacy family note”. 
  2. Hit Enter. 

Google will return results based on your query. 

Once you’ve found the result, you can view it further. 

How to archive a privacy note? 

Archiving a privacy note is very similar to deleting one. Here’s how you can archive a privacy note on Google Drive. 

  1. Right-click on the privacy note and select Archive. 
  2. Confirm the action.

How to remove a privacy note? 

Removing a privacy note is exactly the same process as archiving one. Here’s how you can remove a privacy note from Google Drive. 

  1. Right-click on the privacy note and select Remove. 
  2. Confirm the action. 
  3. That’s it! 

Your privacy note will now be deleted permanently. 

Privacy notes give you the ability to hide secrets from the rest of the world. They provide you with an extra layer of protection for your thoughts. With that said, privacy notes should remain private. Don’t reveal the information contained within them to anyone else. In addition, remember that no one can read your privacy notes unless you tell them to.
